Welcome to SIFFcast 2006!

We're glad you found us! Take a look around this site; we hope that you will find all sorts of interesting content to enhance your SIFF (and Bumbershoot) experience.

The Seattle International Film Festival has always been on the cutting edge of technology. Did you know we were the first to broadcast a film over the Internet - way back in 1995? Party Girl starring Parker Posey was our first SIFFcast, and the first feature film ever broadcast over the Internet anywhere. We have come a long way, baby...

We have offered all of the SIFF and Bumbershoot short filmmakers the opportunity to play their films here; we are going to be interviewing visiting directors, actors, and many of you standing in lines or coming out of a theatre. Missed a Festival Forum? You might just see it here.

And don't forget to participate! Want to put your two cents in about a film? Add your own comments to the site (just look for the "Comments" link on every post)!

This program was made possible by the generous support of IrisInk, The MAC Store, Modern Digital, Digital Forest, The Seattle Channel and the students of the Film and Video program at Seattle Central Community College.
